Hoshi Senju is a young teen with red hair styled after the fourth hokage. He has crimson eyes and wears a leaf ninja headband on his forehead. He has a tan skin tone similar to his father Hashirama and wears a red jacket with black stripes across each arm. Hoshi also wears a fishnet shirt underneath his jacket, black pants, and black ninja sandals. Lastly he represents the Uzumaki clan with it's symbol on the back of his jacket and the Senju clan as it's symbol is located on the left side of the front of his jacket.
An enthusiastic young genin who enjoys training and going on missions with his team. Although he isn't smart or talented, Hoshi is passionate about getting stronger so that he could protect his comrades and his village. He'll often joke around to try and calm tense situations but knows when it's time to take things seriously. His father was once known as the "God of Shinobi" so Hoshi aspires to one day surpass him by becoming the strongest shinobi to ever live.
Chapter 0: BirthThirteen years before the Boruto era, an Otsutsuki who had lived for over an millennium was finally nearing his end. He had been searching for a perfect vessel for more than a year but he knew that the humans on the planet wouldn't be able to sustain him for more than a day. Desperate to survive, this Otsutsuki resorted to creating life through the use of science to make the perfect vessel. After several unsuccessful attempts, the Otsutsuki was finally able to "create" this perfect vessel by using DNA from Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki which ended up creating a vessel with a life force that would allow him to essentially return to the prime of his life. The only problem with this vessel is that the karma he implanted would take years to fully manifest and he needed the vessel to survive until that day came. With not much time left, the Otsutsuki left the newly born vessel in the care of Konoha as he knew leaving this vessel in the strongest ninja village would be his best chance of survival. Before leaving him in Konoha, the Otsutsuki made sure to hide the karma seal so that no one in the village would suspect more. After succeeding in his task, the Otsutsuki perished of old age knowing one day he would return.Chapter 1: Introduction, Hoshi SenjuOne day in the hidden leaf village, an unregistered chakra signature entered the village and then immediately vanished. Concerned, Kakashi Hatake, the serving Hokage at the time, ordered the anbu to investigate the location where this chakra signature was last tracked. Upon arrival, the anbu found a newborn who had been seemingly abandoned. The newborn had a chakra signature similar to someone who had already registered which should've been impossible. Intrigued, the leaf village looked further into this matter and eventually were able to uncover that this newborn had the DNA of Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki which made him the genetic offspring of the first hokage. When this realization came to fruition, Konoha knew that the newborn was a result of lab experiments and the immediate suspect was Orochimaru. However, Orochimaru had very good alibis which ultimately cut him off the suspect list. With no other suspects, the hokage decided to leave this case behind and allowed the newborn to grow up within the village as a resident. Given the name "Hoshi Senju" the young child was frequently visited by Kakashi Hatake who made sure that he was being well treated and taken care of. Although Kakashi looked after him from time to time, he still lived alone and eventually noticed that the anbu were always nearby which led villagers to become wary of the boy. Being followed all the time led to Hoshi believing he wasn't trusted by the village so he sought to earn the trust of the village by becoming a shinobi that they would have to respect. With this motivation, Hoshi enrolled into the academy at the age of twelve. However, Hoshi's academics were average and he had trouble with any sort of ninjutsu. Unknown to him, the reason he had such a hard time with ninjutsu was because of his massive chakra reserves which surpassed even his father's but that made controlling all that chakra nearly impossible for someone his age. Hoshi's hard work eventually allowed him to control fire release which was the release he was born with but that was about all he could get down. As for genjutsu, Hoshi had no idea how to cast any and the best he could do was learn how to break out of them. Due to this, Hoshi tended to rely on his taijutsu which he was actually quite good at. Not great academically or particularly talented at anything besides taijutsu, Hoshi was barely able to pass the academy thanks to his hard work and was placed on a team as a genin.
Chakra - Hoshi has an absurd level of chakra, having more than both his father and mother combined. This means that he has much more stamina than the average person and is able to cast many more ninjutsu. At least this would be the case if it weren't for his poor chakra control. Due to his massive chakra reserves, he tends to waste more chakra when using his ninjutsu than he needs to.Body Flicker Technique - Hoshi uses his chakra to move at extreme speeds for short to long distances.Substitution Jutsu - Hoshi replaces himself with any sort of object before he is attacked.Taijutsu - Because of his lack of chakra control, instead of relying on ninjutsu Hoshi mostly focused on honing his body and learned many of the leaf's fighting styles which actually makes him an outstanding individual when it comes down to hand to hand combat.Genjutsu - Hoshi is unable to cast any type of genjutsu because of his chakra control but from his academy training he learned how to release a genjutsu in case him or a comrade ever got placed in one.Ninjutsu - While Hoshi's chakra control makes it hard for him to learn certain ninjutsu, through hard work and countless training the genin was able to learn some jutsu that fit his fighting style.Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu - Hoshi can create many shadow clones of himself. In fact, he can create more than any other genin because of his massive chakra reserves but his poor chakra control always make him waste to much on creating the clones, making him tire quickly.Transformation Jutsu - Hoshi had a lot of difficulty learning this jutsu but after working nonstop, he was eventually able to get it down. This jutsu allows the user to tranform into pretty much anything such as people, animals, plants, or even inanimate objects.Fire Style: Flame Body - Hoshi surrounds his body with fire chakra, increasing the power and speed behind all his taijutsu attacks while also burning his target. While it is his signature jutsu, his poor chakra control currently leaves him unable to use this jutsu for very long.Fire Style: Flame Attack - Hoshi imbues his fists with fire and attacks his target which ends up burning them. A fairly simple jutsu that Hoshi usually leads with since it's the only ninjutsu he has no problems with.Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu - Hoshi's only long range ninjutsu. He shoots out a ball of fire from his mouth. His fireballs tend to be massive since he has trouble controlling the amount of fire he spews.Wood Style - Hoshi is able to use wood style because of inheriting it from Hashirama but he currently knows no ninjutsu for it and his chakra control prevents him from learning any.
Kunai - Hoshi carries kunai which he usually uses to parry other weapons.Shuriken - Hoshi carries many shuriken which he can toss at a target. He can also coat these shuriken in fire chakra to burn his target.Paper Bombs - Paper that explodes after a set period of time when placed on a target. Hoshi can place these on kunai on them toss them at his target.Smoke Bombs - Balls that Hoshi can use to create clouds of smoke. He can either use this to escape or pull off unseen attacks.
